Alliance for African American Health in Central Texas engages people at the grassroots level and beyond, to identify and implement solutions that create opportunities for African Americans to achieve optimal physical, mental, and social well-being.

A Better Me

Assisting African American residents of Travis County, 18 or older who want to make lifestyle changes related to physical activity and eating habits.

Project Breast CARE

Providing breast health education and connect women with resources to receive free or low-cost breast health services.

Inter-generational Gardening Soul to Soul

Bringing youth, adult leaders, and seniors together to construct and maintain vegetable gardens at the seniors’ home.

Health Heroes

Serving as an inspiration and example to others that we can take control of our health and make the necessary steps to improve outcomes and have a better quality of life.
